The soundtrack for the Rolling Stones movie 'Shine A Light' will be released as both a single and double CD.
The double album will feature 2 tracks while the single disc has 16 songs.Both versions will feature special guests Jack White, Buddy Guy and Christina Aguilera. White performed 'Loving Cup' with the band. Buddy was there for the previously unreleased 'Champagne & Reefer' while Christina Aguilera was captured on the 60s 'Live With Me'.
The movie had its North American premiere on Friday night at SXSW in Austin, Texas. It was directed by Martin Scorsese and filmed at the Beacon Theatre in New York on October 29 and November 1, 2006 as part of the 'A Bigger Bang' tour.
The two albums will be released on April 1.
