Carmit Bachar has left Pussycat Dolls to pursue other interests.
Bachar joined the group in 1995 when the act was still burlesque.She was one of the lead singers, along with Nicole Scherzinger and Melody Thornton and up until her departure, was the longest serving Pussycat Doll.
One of the more interesting rumours to surface now that Carmit is out, is that Beyonce's sister Solange will be the new member of the group.
That is unlikely as Solange announced her new act Hadley Street Dreams only last week.
Pussycat Dolls are expected to continue as a 5 piece.
