Madonna Buys A Pub

Madonna and her husband Guy Ritchie have brought The Punchbowl in London's Mayfair.

The pub is rather historic. It was once owned by the gangster Freddie Foreman and has been visited over the years by Barbra Streisand, Al Pacino and Robert De Niro.

The Punchbowl was opened in the 1730s.

Madonna and Guy are reported to have paid £2.5 million for the business.
