My Morning Jacket's Two Tone Tommy is pretty excited that the band will be playing at SxSW in the same year as Dolly Parton.
At the Part 3 blog at the SXSW site, Tommy says "Only Dolly could make Collective Soul's Shine' listenable" and that if you don't have a soft spot for the lady then you're just not human".The My Morning Jacket guys are proving to have some interesting tastes. Last week, singer Bo Koster outted himself as a Hanson fan.
My Morning Jacket will hit SXSW in Austin on March 13 when they play Austin Music Hall.
Hanson will perform at La Zona Rosa in Austin on March 15.
