The music of Ben Lee will be featured in Nash Edgerton's upcoming movie 'The Square'.
Lee wrote the music but doesn't sing. He handed that chore over to Home & Away star, Jessica Chapnik, who will make her recording debut with the soundtrack."I'm really happy with these recordings," Ben says in his online blog. "Apparently they showed a sneak preview of the trailer that features a song of mine at Tropfest last week, and people liked it".
Jessica's vocals grace the songs "This Life is Sweet", "Sand", "Unloved Letters", and "How Loves Pray".
'The Square' was directed by Nash Edgerton and written by his brother Joel. Joel also stars in the movie, alongside Bill Hunter, Peter Phelps and (making his big screen debut), The Chaser's Julian Morrow.
The movie is a thriller about a man whose life unravels when his mistress brings him a suitcase full of case.
