One of the biggest dance parties in Australia, and even the Southern Hemisphere, Earthcore, is back once again with an array of local and international DJs and live performers.
The three day bush rave has been heralded as one of the great events in the electro-calendar, and covers everything from trance to house to techno.Recently the festival has included a quasi-rock band to appeal to a different market and has included TISM, Regurgitator and even the Cosmic Psychos, but this year the only name that those not in "the know" might be familiar with is New Order bassist Peter Hook, who will be performing a DJ set.
Early bird tickets are just $79, which is a damn sight cheaper than the $150 you'll be paying if you leave it to the last minute (and any of those tickets are left).
You can also buy a gold pass for $350, which gives you... *ahem*... "free" entry to all Earthcore events for a 12 month period, or get a Club 333 ticket, which includes food, drink and "various added comforts" for $222 up until the end of August or $333 after.
The full line up is:
Monster Mainfloor, Sunny Market Stage, G.O.D Hard Dance Arena, Hydra Trance Stomping Ground, Red Bus Electribe Green Zone and Club 333 VIP Area (with lectroland.com, Screw Crew and Psyclone Posse). You'll be wowed by 1200 Micrograms, Growing Mad Scientists, John 00 Fleming, Nick Sentience, Michael Mayer, New Order DJ - Peter Hook, Tsuyoshi Suzuki, Raja Ram, Chicago, DJ Wag a.k.a. Yakooza, Alex Kidd, Mo-Shic, Gaudi, DJ Lucas, Numenoid, Michele Adamson, Space Tribe, DJ Miyagi, Mark EG, Oforia, Fatali, Shulman, Eskimo, Protoculture, Sirius Isness, Xavier Morel, Phony Orphants, Antix, FREq, DJ Jeppe, DJ Emok, Nate and the Japanese Bonsai Bonanza featuring Slum, Ta-ka, Daijiro, Tokage, Kemix and YK, plus an army of local and interstate DJs.
The festival will take place in Victoria at Undera on November 24 to 26 and in Queensland at Peak Crossing on December 1 - 3.
