Amy Winehouse Wins Best New Artist

Amy Winehouse has consolidated her '07 success by winning Best New Artist at the 50th Grammy Awards.

Winehouse was competing with Feist, Ledisi, Paramore and Taylor Swift for the award.

Amy did not attend the ceremony because she did not receive a Visa to enter the USA until late Friday. By the time the Visa had come through, Winehouse had already rehearsed her band to perform live via satellite from London.

Her song 'Rehab' also won Song of the Year.
