Barry Gibb has resigned a new publishing deal with Warner Chappell.
Gibb took his catalogue to Warner Chappell in 2002 and this week renewed the agreement.Under the deal, Warner Chappell will continue to publish the Gibb back catalogue as well as his future works.
With the Bee Gees, Gibb has written 19 North American number one songs.
In a statement, he said, "I am very proud to continue my ongoing relationship with Warner/Chappell and I look forward to a very exciting and mutually rewarding musical adventure."
The Bee Gees were the first act to have five songs in the US top 10 simultaneously and are the only group ever to have written, produced and recorded six consecutive number one hits.
The Warner Chappell catalogue also houses the works of Eric Clapton, Madonna, Led Zeppelin, Dido, Dr Dre and Green Day as well as the songs of Cole Porter and George and Ira Gershwin.
