As reported by Undercover on Sunday, Britney Spears will spend an additional 14 days in the UCLA Medical Center's psychiatric hospital.
Spears was taken to hospital on Thursday and placed under observation for 72 hours. It was the second time she was hospitalised in a month.Her father James has now taken over as conservator of her assets and has placed a restraining order on her self-appointed manager Sam Lutfi.
Spears has been on a downward spiral ever since her break-up and divorced with husband Kevin Federline.
On January 3rd, police were called to her house after she refused to return her children to Federline following a visit. She has now lost a custody battle for the two children Jayden and Sean.
In the last year, Britney bizarre antics include the now famous heading shaving incident, walking away from her broken down cart in traffic, a car accident and running over a photographer.
She is now under 24 hour watch at the psychiatric hospital.
