The newly reactivated News Kids On The Block site nkotb.com has another reunion signal, a previously unreleased song has been added.
The unnamed song is a ballad that activates over a slideshow of the band's achievements. The lyrics go "I promise when I get back, I'll stay".The website now states that NKOTB 'influenced a generation; sold more than 70 million albums and grossed more than $1 billion". It claims they had 5 multi-platinum albums, 10 Top 10 singles and 5 number 1 singles ... and then they walked away from it all".
Well, the "they walked away from it all" is a bet of a stretch. The audience took no notice of them by the time they released their last album is closer to the truth ...but ... the website does now say "Millions of fans around the world await their return".
Early this week, Undercover told you about the impending reunion announcement for February.
It is still not sure if all five members, Jordan and Jonathan Knight, Joey McIntyre, Donnie Wahlberg and Danny Wood will be in the new line-up.
Most likely Wood will not be part of the reunion. He is denying that there is a reunion on his MySpace site which suggests that just maybe he might not be involved.
