Westlife won't make it to Australia next month due to recording commitments.
The Australian tour was to take place between September 17 and 23 but the boyband is yet to complete its next album.A statement from Sony-BMG says that "due to delays in the recording of their new album, due for international release in October of this year, the band have reluctantly had to reschedule their Australian tour and will now tour here early in 2007".
Ticket holders are advised at this stage to hang on to their tickets until further notice.
An Australian promotional tour is being planned in October.
"Westlife apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause their fans" the statement reads.
