Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong is dusting off his rarely used "other bad" Pinhead Gunpowder for two shows in California next month.
Greenday.net is reporting that Pinhead Gunpowder will perform at Chain Reaction in Anaheim on February 3rd and the Troubadour in LA on February 4th.Armstrong rarely gets his Pinheads on stage. The last time they played was in 2001.
The original band formed in 1991. The line-up is Aaron Cometbus (drums), Bill Schneider (bass), Billie Joe Armstrong (guitar, vocals) and Jason White (guitar, vocals).
Schneider these days is Green Day's guitar tech. White has played guitar on two Green Day tours. His current band is The Big Cats.
Over the years, Pinhead Gunpowder has released a number of EP's through Billie's Adeline Records and on Lookout.
