Iconic trip-hop group Portishead have announced their first tour of anywhere in years.
The band, fresh from their appearance at ATP last month, where they were curators and headliners of a great line up will head out across Europe for a short tour. They have been working on their first album in over ten years - for a sizeable portion of the last ten years - but it will finally be in stores in April through Island Records.
According to the band's official blog, "Island have been good to work with," "It seems that just putting out a record isn't enough anymore" (with regret expressed) and the band are filming "tomorrow" (being today, January 21).
The kids have promised more gigs to come.
