Radiohead announced on their website in the wee hours of January 16 that they would be performing at Rough Trade's East London store that night and only 400 people would be allowed in.
Naturally, 400 people quickly appeared at the store, where even the store's staff weren't allowed in (with the exception of the bare essentials) and wristbands were allocated, before the police ordered the venue to be changed. The band eventually appeared on stage at 93 Feet East, not far from the original venue and performed their entire new album 'In Rainbows' from start to finish.
According to NME's blog, the encore consisted of:
You And Whose Army (from Amnesiac, 2001)
The National Anthem (from Kid A, 2000)
My Iron Lung (from The Bends, 1995)
The Bends (from The Bends, 1995)
