Australia's finest weekend away, The Meredith Music Festival, has announced the first instalment of artists for this year's event.
Canadian indie legends New Pornographers and Australian pub rock icons Rose Tattoo lead the list of international and local talent, which also includes Midlake, The Drones, Augie March, Band Of Horses and My Disco.Now in its 16th year, December's Meredith Music Festival is perhaps the best-loved festival on the Australian summer circuit, taking place in rural central Victoria. Meredith regulars wholeheartedly embrace the festival's BYO policy and familial atmosphere. This year will also see the release of the Meredith DVD, documenting the festival's rise from a small gathering of friends and locals.
