Oh dear, Yoko Ono is way to popular. The New York artist has reached the 5000 friends limit on Facebook.
At her Facebook page, Yoko explains "Facebook currently limits users to 5000 friends, so if you have a pending friend request, please be patient, we're looking into getting this limit increased to accommodate all new friends in our family of peace and love. I love you!"Yoko has been actively keeping fans updated via Facebook, the social networking site recently part-purchased by Microsoft.
It has been a must-view stop for fans of John Lennon who Yoko regularly talks about, especially in early December on the 27th anniversary of her husband's death.
On December 8th, she wrote, "I miss you, John. 27 years later, I still wish I could turn back the clock to the Summer of 1980. I remember everything - sharing our morning coffee, walking in the park together on a beautiful day, and seeing your hand stretched to mine - holding it, reassuring me that I shouldn't worry about anything because our life was good".
Yoko also regularly posts videos. For Christmas she uploaded the 'Happy Christmas (War Is Over)' music video. There is also video from the dedication of the Imagine Peace Tower in Iceland with Ringo Starr, Olivia Harrison and her son Sean.
Australian Prime Minister Kevin Rudd also utilized the strength of Facebook. He also reached capacity before the election.
