Broken pop star Britney Spears has been released from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in West Hollywood after spending 24 hours at the facility.
Despite being put on the '5150' alert (suicide watch), doctors have determined that Spears is no longer a threat to her life and have allowed her to leave early. They can hold a patient for up to 72 hours on a '5150'.Britney's father Jamie was the only member of the family seen entering the hospital while she was there.
Husband Kevin Federline was seen at the hospital on Friday by Spears' peeps say he was only there to check on the children.
Spears was put in hospital following a breakdown over child custody at her home on Thursday evening.
At an emergency custody hearing on Friday, her former husband Kevin Federline has been given temporary sole custody of the two children, Sean Preston and Jayden James. Another hearing is set for January 14.
