The Black Parade, the alternative band by My Chemical Romance, has flat-lined.
My Chemical Romance created the Black Parade for their third album, released in October 2006.The album was a mini rock opera about a fictitious character but My Chemical Romance brought the characters to life during their world tour.
The album went platinum in the USA, selling around 1.2 million copies to date.
However, it appears My Chemical Romance have moved on from the characters and will return to their true self in 2008.
A flash graphic at theblackparade.com shows a flat-line and underneath it says "bpm 00".
The band had problems this year with drummer Bob Bryar had to pull out of the tour in November because of a problem with his wrist.
My Chemical Romance does not have any scheduled dates so far for 2008.
