Eric Clapton has today announced his first Australian tour since 1990. Five shows were announced around the country.
His current European tour has featured songs from his solo albums, as well as something from almost all of his legendary bands that he has been a part of over the years.Clapton has had the #1 spot in the U.K. with six (yes six) bands - The Yardbirds, Cream, Blind Faith, Derek and The Dominoes, John Mayall's Bluesbreakers and as a solo artist and his hits include 'Layla', 'Tears In Heaven', 'Sunshine Of Your Love', 'Crossroads' and 'White Room' and he is believed to have played the guitar solo on The Beatles' 'While My Guitar Gently Weeps'.
