Congratulations to Sneaky Sound System. After scooping the prize pool at the ARIA Awards this year, the act has now gone on to break a new chart record - the longest charting single in ARIA chart history.
Sneaky Sound System's 'I Love It' logged up 70 weeks on the Australian top 100 this week, beating the record held by The Living End.TLE's 'Second Solution/Prisoner of Society' spent 69 weeks on the chart between 1997 and 1999.
This week, Sneaky Sound System also won Best Single and Best Artist at the AIR Independent Music Awards, so it is a double celebration.
This week, they released a collector's edition of the debut album, featuring an acoustic version of 'I Love It', 6 bonus remixes and videos of 'Pictures' and 'Goodbye' as well as live versions of 'UFO', 'I Love It' and 'Hip Hip Hooray'.
They have also started work on their second album which will be releases in 2008.
