Robert Smith and his glum backing brigade The Cure have donated a signed guitar to be auctioned off with proceeds going to the West Memphis Three.
The West Memphis Three are a trio accused of murdering three young boys in the West Memphis area in 1993, but a devoted group of people believe them to be innocent.The Cure join Henry Rollins, Metallica, Steve Earle, Winona Ryder, Alkaline Trio, Hank Williams III and many many more in supporting the group.
The guitar to be auctioned is a Schecter RS-1000 acoustic guitar custom designed for Smith and signed by the four current Cure members.

Proceeds from the guitar will go towards the group's legal proceedings.
