The Police To Headline Isle Of Wight

The Police world tour is expanding with news that the classic rock band has signed on for the closing slot for the 2008 Isle of Wight festival.

The show scheduled for June 15 will be part of a series of festival appearances for The Police in Europe across June and July.

The Police will headline next years Isle of Wight with the closing gig on Sunday June 15.

The 2008 touring season for The Police kicks off in New Zealand on January 17.
