Are The Cult going on tour in '08 with Limp Bizkit? Maybe. Led Zeppelin have denied it is with them.
The Cult's Ian Astbury is reported to have told fans at their Cincinnati show last week that they will be "back next year opening for a band you might have heard of. The name starts with 'L' and has a 'Z' in it.Led Zeppelin are denying that the forthcoming reunion show in London will be any more than a one-off event, meaning that The Cult might have to settle on a Limp Bizkit gig.
A source for Led Zeppelin agrees. "Maybe Ian got mixed up and they're supporting Limp Bizkit!", he said.
Led Zeppelin will perform at the O2 Arena in London on December 10 for the Ahmet Ertegun Tribute Concert.
The show, a tribute to the founder of Atlantic Records, will also feature Bill Wyman, Paul Rogers, Paolo Nutini and Foreigner.
