Queen of Motown Diana Ross' father passed away on Tuesday (20 Nov) from an undisclosed cause in his hometown of Detroit, MI.
Fred Ross was 87 when he died.Diana Ross had just performed a show in Los Angeles earlier that night before she flew home to Detroit.
In the 60s, as leader of The Supremes, Diana Ross turnen Motown into the pop juggernaut it's known for with hits like 'Stop! In The Name Of Love' and 'You Can't Hurry Love'. Later on in her career she had a number of solo hits including 'Upside Down' and 'Ain't No Mountain High Enough'.
