Led Zeppelin held secret rehearsals before announcing they would reform, according to a recent interview with Jimmy Page.
"We wanted to see how well we'd be playing together and once we played it was without doubt we wanted to do it," he told the BBC."The hardest thing of having anything to do with Led Zeppelin is getting together and rehearsing without anybody finding out about it."
He also admitted that their performance at Live Aid in 1985 was "shambolic" where they played with a drummer they had never met and was later joined by Phil Collins, who had never played with them.
With just two "shambolic" performances since original drummer John Bonham's death in 1980, part of me wants to believe this is going to suck... but that's just the part of me that doesn't have a ticket.
