Fans heading to the Townsville show of Elton John's 'Rocket Man Solo : A Knight Under The Stars' tour for Townsville can bring a few extra friends. 1,321 extra tickets will go on sale tomorrow (Monday November 19).
In making the announcement, Chugg Entertainment Managing Director Matthew Lazarus Hall says the reseating was due to production seats becoming available. "Being able to make more seated tickets available to the North is great news," he said. "We've basically been sold-out here since we went on sale in August and now people who think they missed out have another chance to be part of this historic event."The Queensland show will house around 21,500 fans, making it the biggest show Northern Queensland has ever seen.
The shows also include around 1000 "Blanket on the ground" tickets, meaning fans can choose a seat or bring a blanket and sit on the ground. The blanket tickets sell for $90 plus fees.
Elton will play Townsville on December 4.
The tour starts in the Barossa Valley on November 24.
