Prince has given his fans a bittersweet message by releasing a song warning them not to steal his image.
He has released the song 'PFunk' at a specially registered URL www.princefamsunited.comThe song is his statement after ordering three websites to remove images he had not authorized. Prince claimed they infringed copyright.
The song lyrics slam the websites for cashing in on his name. "The only reason you say my name / Is to get your fifteen seconds of fame / Nobody's even sure what you do / I don't care what people may say / I ain't gonna let it ruin my day."
He then softens the blow with "I love all y'all, don't you ever mess with me no more."
