Weezer has finished the next record and anointed the album with the title 'Album 6'.
In a statement at their official website, Weezer say "Album 6 is getting ready for mixing and I have never been so excited about a project in my life. Weezer fans truly have something to look forward to. The entire band has accomplished some of its most challenging goals as a group and as individuals. It's all coming together on this album. ??To sum it up, at the beginning of the recording each member asked himself "what do you want out of this session?" The answer lies ahead."While 'Album 6' won't be released until next year, Weezer fans will have a bonus for Christmas. In December, look out for 'Alone: The Home Recordings of Rivers Cuomo'.
The album is a rarities record featuring demos from '92 to '07.
'Alone' will include the original demo for the breakthrough Weezer song "Buddy Holly".
