George O'Dowd, otherwise known as Boy George has begun his much publicized community service in Manhattan, NY.
George will spend five grueling days sweeping the streets of Manhattan after falsely reporting a burglary at his house, and being allegedly busted with a small amount of cocaine when the cops arrived.The work isn't fun at the best of times, but to make it worse for poor Boy George, he had hundreds of photographers and journalists following him photographing his every move.
"It's supposed to be making me humble. Why don't you just let me do it?" he said to the photographers hounding him.
For his remaining four days, he has been moved to a gated parking lot, so he can get on with his job.
