After quite literally millions of fans around the world have been drowning in their own tears at the thought of not seeing Led Zeppelin's one-off reunion show, Jimmy Page has hinted that their might be hope yet.
Page told Guitar World magazine "It's a bit silly not to [tour] because there is such massive demand. It's a bit selfish to do just one show. If that's it, we probably shouldn't have taken the genie out of the bottle."If that's not enough, we might even be lucky enough to hear some new music (which could be a blessing or a curse...).
"I'd be really surprised if there wasn't (an album). We're musicians. As we're playing we'll probably be coming up with all manner of things."
It would be the band's first release since 1979's 'In Through The Out Door', although Jimmy Page and Robert Plant reunited and toured, releasing a live album 'No Quarter: Page and Plant Unledded' in 1994 and a studio album 'Walking Into Clarksdale' in 1998.
Led Zeppelin will perform at London's O2 Arena on December 10 (rescheduled from November 26) with original drummer John Bonham's son Jason on drums.
