• Kylie Minogue's record label have denied UK tabloid reports that she's cancelled a planned 2008 tour over health concerns. "Any rumours of a tour in 2008 are untrue to start with and that's come from her management," Warner spokeswoman Kylie Martin said.• Celine Dion won the 'Legend Award' at the World Music Awards in Monaco over the weekend, with Prince Albert describing her's as a voice which "soothes the world's hearts and creates smiles of love across the face of the world."
• In less nauseating news, Patti LaBelle was also recognised at the event for her contribution to R&B. "I love this show because it unites the world with music; we need peace in the world," LaBelle said.
* Radiohead has signed with UK label XL Recordings for the physical release of 'In Rainbows'. Thom Yorke released his solo record 'The Eraser' on XL.
* Jewel is now an Indie. The multiplatinum singer/songwriter, who has sold tens of millions of albums worldwide, will release her next album on launched Nashville-based independent Valory Music Company.
* The Britney Spears/Kevin Federline custody battle continues. Last week the court heard how Britney spends $4,758 a month dining out, $16,000 a month on clothes and $102,000 a month on entertainment. The singer is reported to earn over $700,000 a month.
