With the Activision game Guitar Hero III just days away from release, guitar hero Joe Perry was in hand in New York to party away for the launch.
Guitar Hero III features more music than ever before including Aerosmith and a newly recorded track from the Sex Pistols."We were thrilled to be part of the launch of one of the season's hottest and most anticipated games and to provide an opportunity for Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock and Aerosmith fans to jam with Joe," said Tom DaNapoli, vice president of marketing for GameStop in a statement. For the first time ever, Guitar Hero fans will also be able to thrash and burn with new wireless guitar controllers available for each platform, including exclusive Gibson Guitar's Les Paul model for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, Wii™ home video game system from Nintendo, and PLAYSTATION®3 computer entertainment system. PlayStation®2 computer entertainment system gamers will also get to shred on a new exclusive shape, Gibson's Kramer guitar, popularized by hard rockers and known for its body design, pickups, electronics and construction for furious finger fretting.
Guitar Hero III will be available from next week.
