Powderfinger frontman Bernard Fanning is taking his solo album 'Tea & Sympathy' to the US.
Fanning has announced a short round of shows in September in New York, Nashville, San Francisco, Seattle and Los Angeles.The platinum selling 'Tea & Sympathy' is to date the biggest selling Australian album of 2006 and despite his band Powderfinger also being the biggest Australian act of the last decade, fame in the US has somehow evaded Fanning and Co.
'Tea & Sympathy' was released in the USA on August 8 on Lost Highway Records, the Nashville based label which boasts Willie Nelson and Ryan Adams as part of its catalogue.
