The 2008 series of Laneway Festival shows have been announced, featuring another indielicious array of international and local acts.
Now in its fourth year, the series expands yet again with the announcement of the first Adelaide Laneway Festival. And the Melbourne space - which hosted the inaugural event in 2005 - will now expand from the narrow confines of Caledonian Lane and into the main nearby thoroughfare of Lonsdale Street. The international bands will include Feist, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Kevin Drew (Broken Social Scene), Okkervil River, Dan Deacon and The Brunettes. They'll join local acts The Presets, ARIA-winner Gotye, The Panics, The Devastations, Little Red, Via Tania, The Holidays and Bridezilla.
More acts are set to be announced for the shows, which take place through late February and early March.
Tickets will go on sale Thursday 8 November via www.lanewayfestival.com.au.
