The Sex Pistols reactivated this week with a show at the Roxy nightclub in Los Angeles.
For a band that only ever had one album, the setlist was narrowed down to pretty much whatever Sex Pistols song you wanted to hear. The one hour show opened with 'Holidays In The Sun' and included their signature tunes 'Anarchy In The UK' and 'God Save The Queen', but it was the Johnny Rotten banter that drew the best responses from the 200 strong audience.
At one stage when a female fan jumped up on stage, Rotten asked why it was that only the ugly ones jumped up. He then said "Steve Jones always gets the fat ones".
Lydon, Jones and Glen Matlock and Paul Cook will head to England next month for a limited number of shows to mark the 30th anniversary of their sole studio album 'Never Mind The Bollocks' album.
