Bon Jovi have started a world tour with the first of a 10 night stand in their home state of New Jersey.
"We're starting in New Jersey and then taking it to the world," Jon Bon Jovi told fans at the first show.The tour will see the band on the road into April with dates in Canada, Japan, England, Scotland, Wales, Germany and New Zealand.
Australian dates for January will be announced next week.
This is the Lost Highway tour for the band, named after the recently released country tinged album of the same name.
Over a 25 year career, Bon Jovi has played more than 2500 concerts in 50 countries to more than 25 million fans.
Bon Jovi album sales have exceeded 120 million.
