Cat Empire, Mark Seymour, Mia Dyson To Their Bit for Climate Change

By Paul Cashmere

The Cat Empire's Felix Riebl, as well as Mark Seymour, Mia Dyson, Katie Noonan and Jen Cloher have become vocal supporters of Who On Earth Cares, an awareness group for climate change.

Since it began in August, 11,500 Australians have signed on for the cause.

Riebl is talking about the message during his shows with The Cat Empire. "I care about climate change because this world is an amazing, wonderful place, and I find it depressing to think that I was part of a species that wrecked so much of that beauty," said Felix.

ARIA winner Mia Dyson says "I am concerned about climate change because it will make the very world unliveable if we let climate change continue its course."

Who On Earth Cares friends can register at the MySpace site.
