Beyonce has pulled out of a concert in Turkey because of current unrest in the region.
A statement from the Fenerbahce Sports Club in Istanbul, Turkey reads "Following recent unsettling events in Turkey, Fenerbahce Sports Club has cancelled its centenary celebratory event which was planned as a stadium concert to be performed by the worldwide star Beyonce in Istanbul on Wednesday".
"The Club expresses its condolences to the country".
"We also express our gratitude to Beyonce Knowles for her understanding that we are left with no alternative but to reschedule the concert to a more appropriate time".
The singer has just completed a concert in Ethiopia where she made headlines for wearing a see-through leotard.
She had recently cancelled a concert in Malaysia after refusing to adopt a dress-code reflective of the nations morals.
The irony is that in Australia, when she appeared on stage with boyfriend Jay-Z, she was covered head-to-toe so that sh would no be recognised.
