Baby Animals are getting back together.
The Aussie band featuring Suze DeMarchi on vocals were only around for two albums and 3 short years in the early 90s.The debut album from September 1991 spent 6 weeks at number one in Australia. The self-titled album sold more than 400,000 units and earned 8x platinum in Australia.
In 1995, they released their second album 'Shaved and Dangerous' but as they were about to release the album in the USA, their label folded. The band was still tied legally to a defunct label and unable to release elsewhere so they folded.
Suze married Extreme's Nuno Bettencourt and went into the new career of motherhood.
Now, 12 years after breaking up, Baby Animals are back together featuring Suze DeMarchi, Dave Leslie (guitar), Eddie Parise (bass) and Frank Celenza (drums).
They will release two albums in 2008.
The first, 'Il Grande Silenzio', will feature acoustic versions of their greatest hits.
A new rock record is planned for mid-2008.
The all-new Baby Animals albums will be released through Liberation Records.
