The Killers will perform at the 2006 MTV Video Music Awards from New York on August 31st.
The line-up for the show will also include performances from Beyonce, Panic! At the Disco, TI, Ludacris and Justin Timberlake.The show will be hosted by King King's mate Jack Black.
Black, part of the self proclaimed "Greatest Band on Earth" Tenacious D says "My plan is to bring the thunder. I've got my top men working on it as we speak in my thunder laboratory. Radio City Music Hall will never be the same."
Tenacious D fans can look forward to their first feature film 'Tenacious D in The Pick of Destiny' coming out November 14th through New Line Cinema.
Black was also in School of Rock, Shark Tale, Shallow Hal and High Fidelity.
