In quick succession, the Gold Coast Big Day Out event has also sold out.
Obviously not comparing to the 45,000 tickets sold within ten minutes for the Sydney BDO yesterday, it's still a coup for the festival with all but 5,000 ticket for the Gold Coast event snapped up this morning.Once again, the BDO has reserved tickets for a ballot. The 5,000 on hold will be released in 500 ticket blocks each Thursday over ten weeks. Again, to register for the Gold Coast ticket ballot, head to the Big Day Out's dot com and sign up before Thursday October 18.
Tickets for the Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth Big Days Out will go on sale tomorrow from 9am. And it's a lock that they'll sell out in minutes.
