Ian Brown has sent a spray in the direction of Kylie Minogue, describing her music as "rubbish".
The ex-Stone Rose questioned in no uncertain terms the appropriateness of Kylie being awarded a Q Idol award at last night's Q Awards in London."I don't know what Kylie's doing at a music awards to be honest," he told BBC Radio.
"I don't think she's cute. I don't think she's good-looking. Her music's rubbish - she makes music for little kids. I'm sorry if it sounds like I'm putting her down, but there's a lot of great minds out there making music and she's not one of them."
Meanwhile, and in more pleasant news for Kylie's legion of fawning fans, she told the current issue of 'Glamour' magazine that she's still holding out hope for one day getting married and having a family.
Two years after beginning her recovery from breast cancer, she discussed the physical toll the battle has had, explaining, "as far as body image goes, I've shrunk to nothing, I've ballooned ... my body is not what it used to be but it's the body I'm in.
"When you are stripped of everything and you have to grown your eyelashes back, grown your hair back, it's astonishing.
"It's hard to express what I've learnt from that, but a deep psychological and emotional shift has obviously taken place."
