Hanson guitarist Isaac Hanson has been released from a Dallas hospital after undergoing life-saving surgery.
Hanson received the emergency surgery after an attack of 'Paget-Schroeder Syndrome', a disease that normally attacks athletes whose upper body muscle development constricts the arteries from the heart and causes potentially fatal blood clots. At the band's website, they state that "the life-saving surgery was performed by Dr. Bradley Grimsley who was extremely satisfied with the results and expects Isaac to make a full and swift recovery".
Hanson were on their 'Walk On' tour when Isaac was put out of action.
Shows in Tulsa, St Louis and Kansas City were cancelled as a result.
The tour will resume on October 8th. A further announcement will be made about rescheduling the cancelled shows.
