B.J. Thomas has released his first album in 10 years. 'Love To Burn' brings the six-time Grammy and Oscar winner back to active duty.
Thomas is best known for the songs 'Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head' and 'Another Somebody Done Somebody Wrong Song'.'Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head' won the singer an Academy Award. The song was featured in the movie 'Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid'.
On 'Love To Burn', Thomas covers Leon Russell's 'A Song For You' and Sarah McLachlan's 'Angel'. He also has a crack at 'T-R-O-U-B-L-E', a song made famous by Elvis Presley.
The album also features Allen Toussaint's 'Play Something Sweet' and Thomas' own 'Back Against The Wall'.
The new level of activity for Thomas is not restricted to music. In 2008, he will also make his debut as an actor in the movie 'Jake's Corner'.
