Blur have dismissed press speculation in the UK that they are about to reform.
Earlier this week, the UK press went nuts over an impending Blur reunion but it isn't going to happen.Blur members Damon Albarn, Alex James, Dave Rowntree and Graham Coxon did reunite in London this week ... but it was only for lunch.
An announcement at the Blur website states "In light of recent press speculation, blur.co.uk would like to confirm that Alex, Damon, Dave and Graham met for an enjoyable lunch on Monday, but there are currently no other music plans for Blur".
Blur's last album was the 2002 release 'Think Tank'.
Since then, Albarn has released a couple of albums with his other acts Gorillaz and The Good, The Bad and The Queen.
Alex James has been working with 90s one hit wonder Betty Boo in their band Wigwam.
Dave Rowntree started an animation company and produces the TV series 'Empire Square' which was shown on Channel 4.
Graham Coxon has released a number of solo albums since the split of the band.
