Lenny Kravitz 8th studio album 'It Is Time For A Love Revolution' will be released on February 5, 2008.
Kravitz wrote and recorded the album over the last year in a variety of locations including New York, Miami, Paris, Brazil and the Bahamas.The album will feature 14 tracks with Kravitz not only producing and arranging but also playing every instrument of the record.
"I love this record and the feel of the record," Lenny Kravitz said in a statement. "I felt like a kid playing in my bedroom, and that's the most important thing you can tap into, that feeling of being free."
Kravitz uses the lyrics on the record to draw comparisons between Iraq and Vietnam, hence the title 'It Is Time For A Love Revolution'.
The first live performance of songs from the album will be at Times Square in New York on New Years Eve.
