Marilyn Manson's show at the Auckland Town Hall this week came to a grinding halt just four songs into the set when the audience were evacuated.
Stuff.co.nz reports that "excessive smoke from smoke machines" may have been the cause of the interruption.Concert goers had to leave the building while firefighters came in to stabilize the problem.
Stuff says fire engines and ambulances gathered outside the venue but after 10 minutes, Manson was back on stage to continue the set.
The Marilyn Manson tour now continues across Australia. Tonight he plays Festival Hall in Melbourne.
