Public Enemy hypeman, clock enthusiast and love machine Flavor Flav's new show gives VH1 huge highest ratings.
Life is but a reality TV show for hip hop loony Flavor Flav. After a stint on The Surreal Life, and last year's Joe Millionaire-esque love match show The Flavor Of Love, Flav returns to the small screen for the second instalment of his never-ending search for a Mrs. Flav.While Flav did pick a love match in the first Flavor Of Love (the finale watched by almost 6 million in the US), he since decided that he and Nikki "Hoopz" Alexander worked better as friends. The debut of The Flavor Of Love 2, where twenty women vie for Flav's affections, has given VH1 its highest ratings ever for a premiere.
Up against the premiere of the new season of acclaimed Hollywood insider drama Entourage, The Flavor Of Love won its timeslot and was the most watched cable show on Sunday August 6.
Technically, Flav is still a musician. While his first two solo records were rejected by the label and his third was shelved, apparently a fourth album 'Rise, Fall, Rise,' is awaiting release.
