Delicate folkie Suzanne Vega announces her Australian tour with local guest Sara Storer.
While best known for her hits 'Luka' and 'Tom's Diner' from 1987's 'Solitude Standing', Vega has been producing sublime folk pop across eight albums. Her most recent effort is her first studio album in six years, 'Beauty & Crime'. Featuring arresting narrative centred around New York City, it's her first on the famed Blue Note label.Vega is joined on her four date tour by country sensation Sara Storer. An equally gifted storyteller, rural Victorian Storer has been gathering up Golden Guitars for her first two albums and listeners know 2007's 'Silver Skies' will be another award-winning effort.
