Country star Keith Urban was involved in a motorcycle accident yesterday in Sydney as he tried to escape a photographer.
The incident occurred in Darling Harbour, not far from his house. In a statement, Urban says "While out riding to an AA meeting, a time when my privacy is especially important to me, I felt myself being pursued. I sped up and in an effort to elude an oncoming car, which was making an illegal U-turn, saw no choice but to drop my bike. In actual fact, my pursuer came to my assistance, without taking photos, and helped me from the road. I returned home, got my car and continued on my way."
Meanwhile, fans can expect a greatest hits album from the singer before Christmas.
Tracks will include 'Where The Blacktop Ends', 'Raining On Sunday', 'You'll Think Of Me', 'Somebody Like You', 'Who Wouldn't Wanna Be Me', 'You'll Think Of Me', 'Days Go By', 'Better Life', as well as 'Once In A Lifetime', and 'I Told You So'.
Urban is expected to return to his other home in Nashville next week to record some new songs for the record.
The album will be released on November 20.
